The project involves the realization of a video piece, including set design, costume design, post-production, and visual concept development. I experiment with traditional analog techniques such as flipbooks, self-printed film strips, and stop-motion animation. The aim was to creatively combine these historical methods with fashion and costume design. To achieve this, I “knit” a film that simultaneously functions as a scarf for the protagonist. The costume itself becomes the carrier of the film, a projection surface, and a moving, animated texture.
My work focuses on the interplay between appearance and reality: optical illusions, the deliberate use of imitations, and the interaction between real objects and photorealistic prints—a kind of collage-making in real life.
For example, I incorporated the car into the video as an actual printed image, while the background was created through 3D animation. For the small promotional series, I also built a mask, which I later animated using AI, bringing it to life.
